Chicki and GPa's place is only about a block from the Seawall at a place where there is a rocky beach instead of sand. The girls (and their mom) love to go exploring the tidepools where we poke at anemones, compare gastropods (snails, but it's pretty fun to have your three-year-olds spouting the difference between gastropods and bivalves), and marvel at the rare finds... little shrimp and sometimes crabs. I wonder sometimes whether the girls will ever truly appreciate how incredibly blessed they are to live here, to have these be the memories that form the scaffolding of their childhood.
