After Casey's graduation, she took a (much deserved!) week of relaxation with us here in Texas! We spent lots of time on the beach, of course...
...introduced Aunt Casey to the Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde facets of Izzy...
...read lots and lots and lots of stories...
...and had an all-around good time!
Casey's favorite restaurant in Galveston is, of course, Casey's. We lunched there on her last day, and despite our best offerings of tasty shrimp and seafood, Izzy's favorite part of the meal was using the spoon to scoop up ketchup and eat it straight. Blech.
Before she left, Casey shot a VERY controversial video. It's created quite a furor on Facebook...
Aunt Jessie says she has her work cut out for her when we visit Montana this summer!
One of the best parts of the week was that Casey had several interviews and has been offered a job here in Texas!!! Wooo hoo!!! She'll moved down at the beginning of July and starts work on the 5th. She's taking the next few weeks to study for her boards and to wrap everything up in the North before she takes the plunge and becomes a Texan. She's going to love it!
