A-B-C-razy

Lest anyone think that our "school day" is too structured or demanding on the girls, let the following clip put your mind at ease...

The girls were a little less enthusiastic about learning time today. We managed to sort coins, learning the names of pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters in the process, and to count them as we put them back in the jar. We learned the second verse of Psalm 23..."He makes me lie down in green pastures." We reviewed "hot" and "cold" and watched ice melt, boil, and turn to steam on the stove (from a safe distance, of course). We practiced phonics with our letter puzzles, which then descended into the crazy run demonstrated above. Lots of fun, all around!

At lunchtime, I dropped a plate on the counter and heard Izzy say, "Careful, Nicci!" I suppose we're going to have to RE-learn that I am MOM. :)

They look like Molly and Daisy on a beagle run after their baths.
