More Mardi Gras!

Chicki and GPa came to town to kick off the girls' fourth birthday season and got to experience more of Galveston's Mardi Gras celebration! They let Dan and I slip away for a fancy dinner to celebrate Dan's birthday, which often gets slightly eclipsed by the girls' celebration(s); we had a great little getaway!  We met them back on the Seawall at the end of the Krew of Barkus and Meoux Parade, replete with costumed animals and their owners, and then let them take a spin on a few rides at the carnival. They were pretty excited to add to their cache of beads and declared the dogs in tutus their favorites.  They're making big plans with Chicki to participate in the parade next year with Chicki and GPa's dogs, Molly and Daisy, with matching tutus.  Stay tuned for those pictures!
