The Galveston Arts Center hosts art classes for children throughout the summer months that are just fantastic. The girls attended three classes and learned about origami, watercolors, and chalk pastels. We were really impressed with the amount of knowledge that they picked up and the girls were thrilled to be creating art. Galveston has a thriving art scene, and as art is not a skill or talent that their parents possess, the girls are really fortunate to get to participate in this sort of experience.
