Murphy and Diablo, the Komodo Dragons who live in the Rainforest Pyramid at Moody Gardens, are a pretty big deal in our Komodophilic household, so it was a given that we'd attend their fourth birthday party. The girls made cards, which the keeper happily took to display in their enclosure, and we were all pretty captivated while we watched the dragons devour a birthday "cake" made of rats and eggs encased in a gelatin mold. Mmmm.
The Rainforest Pyramid was HOT today, so we continued the birthday celebration by cooling off at La Kings Confectionery. Mmm.
