We went to the sandcastle competition in Galveston on Saturday evening, which was a lot of fun! The skill and creativity that goes into the sand structures is pretty amazing, although the girls and Nathaniel (he and Sybil met us down there) were MUCH more impressed by the many dogs that came out to see the castles. Abby was particularly enamored will a very sweet bull mastiff who licked her face, eliciting giggles galore.
We couldn't visit the beach without letting the girls in the water... they spied it from way back on the beach and ran, of course, prompting Dan to remind me that coming to the beach with the girls is no longer an option unless I can find another adult to come with us. Alas.
We had a fantastic time splashing and running and playing while the sun set.... a perfect evening!

How about suits with built in flots AND a double leash.
OR you could bring them to IL and Gpa will go to the beach with you any time. We could all canoe too.
