Jump n Jungle

Our church's children's ministry had a special outing for the kids at Jump n Jungle on Thursday. The girls LOVED it! Izzy was her usual slow-to-warm-up self, but once she spied the big slide, and talked her mom into taking her up and down and up and down, she was as happy as a clam. Abby was THRILLED from the beginning when she realized that the jump rooms there were WAY bouncier than her jumpolene at home :) Izzy was also pretty thrilled about the basketball hoops, and talked Dad into helping her dunk. Dan is set on getting her a hoop to practice at home :)

The girls are amazing us every minute... they were playing with their "backup" toys in our bedroom this morning, and pulled out a shapesorter that we thought was beyond their ability level, but both of them sat down and completed it within minutes. It's so fun being their parents! :)

We're starting to sense some independence... we have to fight with Izzy to hold hands in parking lots, and she insisted on climbing and going down the slide at the pool today without help (although Dad was never more than a few inches away). The independent streak is going to be a challenge for me, but it's pretty fun to watch them getting a little too big for their britches.

Sorry for the lack of pics today... the camera battery died after about 5 minutes at Jump n Jungle, alas.
