We took an unexpected field trip to the Children's Museum today. We had planned to go to a children's production at the Miller Outdoor Theater, but it seems that every ISD in the greater Houston area was taking a field trip to the zoo (which shares a parking lot with the MOT) today. Not to be defeated, we moved on down the road to the Children's Museum and had a great time! The girls LOVE the water area outside and spent a lot of time building boats to see how well they would float in the currents.
They took a break for some free play and build a little bed out of the foam block-like things.
Inside, they channeled their inner artist and created some pretty appealing paintings.
No trip to the Children's Museum is ever complete without stopping in to brush up on some veterinary skills. Abby is making sure her cat is up-to-date on his vaccinations, and Izzy is checking her dog's ears to be sure that all is well.
