Happy Easter from the Oberts! He is Risen!
The girls started out the morning with a crazy game of find-your-Easter-Basket using clues that Dan wrote out on index cards. They thought it was quite a hoot :)
After church, we had an amazing brunch at the Hotel Galvez. It was pretty fancy, but the girls were on their best behavior and had a great time choosing their own desserts. Several times.
After brunch, we popped over to Moody Gardens for the Easter egg hunt. Alas, some overzealous kids broke through the starting line, and by the time we got there, the eggs had all been gathered. Happily, the girls were content to hug the Easter Bunny (and his wife?) and play with the animals in the petting zoo. It was a beautiful day, and a really nice Easter!
