Zoo day

We had a fun start to our Labor Day weekend with a morning at the zoo! The girls were very excited again to see the giraffes, and especially the elephants. We got to see the lions awake, which was pretty exciting... the girls roared and roared. We got several cute pictures in the monkey area before Izzy fell and scraped her knee (again) and the girls started to melt down...

The girls have been doing better every day with their utensil usage! It's still pretty slow going, and generally devolves into shoveling food in with their hands, but they're really getting the hang of it, which is pretty exciting for civilized people everywhere!

The girls are getting better and better on the slide, and having lots of fun outside. The weather is finally starting to "cool off" here, so we're able to take advantage of our fun backyard :)
