We've had to hunker down a little bit this past week out of respect for Dan, who is in the final stretch before his next big actuary exam. This one will be a SEVEN-HOUR written exam... so, lots of information! Please keep him in your prayers, especially on test day, October 29!
The weather here has been delightful... in the mid-to-upper 70s during the day... nice crisp fall weather! :) (Meanwhile, Dan's family has already had their first snowfall of the season in Montana!) We pulled Dan away from the books for a short little park jaunt and let the girls play. They've been insistent on holding hands with us lately on sidewalks, but they were willing to run, run, run on the boardwalk overlooking Clear Creek. They had a fun time watching the caterpillars and pointing out dogs and birds.
The girls' vocabularies seem to be exploding, as is our ability to understand their words. They're also starting to show us their senses of humor, giggling, fake laughing, and generally being goofy.
In other news.... we got our little potties.... and thus the adventure begins! Right now, we're just in the "sitting on the potty with clothes/diapers on" stage, so that they get used to them. In all honesty, I'm not quite sure I'M ready for this... they're turning into little girls instead of babies, and it's freaking me out.

7 hours?????? That's crazy! We'll be thinking of him and are wishing him good luck and keep him in our prayers.
Yeah, potty time. I know exactly how you feel. It's just all going way too fast.
