Nice Little Saturday

We had a great picnic 'n' play time at Challenger 7 Memorial Park.   The girls are all pretty excited about taking a nature walk, and when Aunt Jessie discovered a walking stick bug on her pants, they were all thrilled and clamoring for a chance to hold him.

The swings are an all-time favorite.  Having Hailey here has been a Godsend for Dan, who has been frustrated in all of his attempts to teach Abby and Izzy to swing themselves.  Just watching Hailey do it for a few days seems to have done the trick, as they are off and swinging, and oh, so proud! Zoey won't be too far behind :)

We capped off our happy day with a trip to the Pasadena Livestock Show and Rodeo. The girls LOVE rodeos, although they were a little disappointed that tonight's entertainment was mostly bull riding, as they wanted to see the other events with the horses.  There was a trick riding demonstrating, which was pretty enthralling, and they watched the Mutton Bustin' very carefully, picking up tips for when they try it at the next rodeo.
