A cool front blew through last night, rendering today perfect fall weather, with temperatures in the balmy 80s (as opposed to the sweltering 90-100s that we've been plodding through these past few weeks). We took advantage by enjoying a morning at the zoo. We were treated to an incredible viewing of a young elephant swimming in its little pool, a very active okapi, and a very sweet baby giraffe.
Hailey and Zoey got to feed giraffes for the first time, which was pretty fun, and all of the girls had a great time riding the rhinos :)
