A few weeks ago, I was browsing one of our new downtown Island shops, The Kitchen Chick, and came across aTexas-shaped cookie cutter. The girls have been itching to make cookies with it ever since, and we finally had both the time and inclination this evening.
The girls LOVE to cook... they read the recipe, gather ingredients, help me measure and dump into the mixture, and sample a little bit of just about everything along the way.
Their favorite part today was the decorating.... and perhaps even more than that, finishing the decorating so that they could lick the spoon. Great evening fun!
