Go USA!

We've been faced with a dilemma this week... like good Americans, we want to watch the Olympics and cheer Team USA, but we really, really don't want the girls to be watching TV already! So, we decided to put them in their walkers and have them watch us... alas, we were outsmarted... :)

The girls decided to do a little roughhousing today. It's fun to watch them trying to figure each other out. It'll be interesting to see what happens when they realize that not everyone has a twin!

A real smile from the tummy time activity center! The girls are starting to realize that being on their bellies with their heads up gives them a little better view of the world than being on their backs, and I think they're starting to like it.

The girls are both trying to crawl, but they have the same habit of doing a face-plant whenever they get their knees moving and their butt in the air, which just plows them into the floor. It's hard to determine how long to let them struggle before rescuing them!

Well, of course they turned around! They HAD to see Horton stick that landing. Wasn't that great to watch? Also, I loved how diverse the American team was, especially on pommel horse. I'm loving these Olympics.
Also, poor Izzy. She has her aunt's tendency toward all lower-body strength, nothin' in the arms, eh?

Should we get the girls a pommel horse?
