One of the greatest things about being a member at Moody Gardens is the freedom to go to any of their attractions at the drop of a hat. We had an evening to spare and thought we'd just take a little cruise around Offat's Bayou on the Colonel, an old paddlewheel boat. The girls had a great time, although my Mama Drama button clicked "on" once we stepped onto the boat and I became convinced that one or both of the twins would inevitably plunge from our view deck onto the bottom deck or worse, into the Bayou. Thankfully, I kept my fears in check (more or less), and the girls, of course, did not fall.
We saw lots of seagulls and just generally enjoyed the cool breeze and beautiful views!
