We wrapped up the weekend with a beach walk this evening, replete with hermit crabs and shorebirds. The girls were content to walk along the water without immersing themselves for approximately thirty seconds before begging to get to swim.
We relented.
And were rewarded with the smiles and giggles of unbridled joy that come from dancing in the waves.
