Uncle Kevin is here, so we've been showing him our favorite activities. Even though it's the height of summer, we decided to brave the heat for the zoo today, getting there early and leaving before the afternoon started beating down on us. The girls were pretty excited about getting to ride the carousel.
The Komodo dragon is one of their favorites... and is right outside the (blissfully air conditioned) reptile house. Good times for everyone!
Also air-conditioned is the Animal Encounters building, where the girls giggled and giggled as they crawled through the piranha tunnel. Over and over and over. :)
No trip to the zoo is complete without feeding the giraffes! The girls are old pros now; with all the fear removed, they never drop their lettuce and their only complaint is that we don't get more than three pieces!
