When I was young, I used to take family vacations with my family to Turkey Creek Ranch in Missouri in the summers. On Tuesdays (always Tuesdays), we would take the pontoon boat out on the lake for a relaxing boat day. Aunt Casey is here for a visit, so we grabbed on to the PonTuesday part of the tradition and rented a boat to cruise Offatt's Bayou.
The girls had no trouble learning to sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride. We got to swim with pelicans, eat lots of cookies and chips, and have a generally wonderful, relaxing day!
