Chickie and GPa have been trying to shoo us out the door all summer so that they could have a weekend with the girls to themselves, so Dan and I (not-so-reluctantly) raced out of town to explore nearby Austin. We had a great weekend, ending with a fabulous sunset dinner overlooking beautiful Lake Travis. We can't wait to bring the girls back to witness the incredible flight of the Congress Bridge bats!
While we were away, the girls had an amazing time with their Chickie and GPa. They visited their favorite, favorite restaurant, The Rainforest Cafe,
visited with Cha-Cha, the Rainforest Cafe Tree Frog,
rode in a horse-drawn carriage on the Strand in downtown Galveston,
and wore their new Rainforest Cafe T-shirts out onto the pier. We ALL had a wonderful weekend!
