Backyard Fun

I'm not sure I fully appreciated it while I was growing up, but Chicki and GPa have a fantastic backyard adventureland.  The girls were pretty timid about tramping down by the stream and into the woods at first, but after a few days, they'd go running to play outside as soon as we got home from our "field trips." Looking out at them from the back porch, it's easy to see what is meant by the importance of "Green Time."  The girls got LOTS of it over the course of this trip! 

 And for the Obert twins, sometimes green time means reading outside :) The girls discovered some of the Schoob girls favorites in the basement... Mike Mulligan, Ferdinand, and Swimmy are reaching yet another generation :)
