Illinois

We have so much fun to pack into these two weeks in Illinois! I think we may have tried to pack in a little too much fun on our first day... between the volcanoes, a quick backyard nature walk and wildflower identification class,

celebrating Aunt Casey's surprise visit with a quick game of "who's taller?" ,

 and eating at the infamous and delicious Merichka's where we met Aunt Chelle and Uncle Jay, we would have been justified in calling it a full day... and then we added a backyard fire with s'mores!

The girls are having a ball and will hopefully sleep in to compensate for the exhaustion that all of this fun is sure to induce!

We're pretty excited to get to spend lots of time with family, and to help Aunt Chelle prepare for her impending nuptials!
