But in other news, the girls are really starting to interact and notice each other, and perhaps more notably, notice the toys that the other is playing with. Hopefully we can teach them about sharing VERY early :) Their sitting skills are getting more advanced by the day, and while they're still a little wobbly, they're able to reach for things and right themselves without toppling over every time!
The game of "making choices" is more fun now, at least for me. I watch them literally empty their toy basket and make piles of toys while I do the morning dishes. It's fun to see which toys captivate them on different days, and at different times. Sometimes it's the beanie babies, sometimes it's the books... they're just soaking in so much these days!
They LOVE hearing their dad count, and we've been singing the alphabet all day, which tends to make them smile and giggle. Of course, they do that when we make animal sounds, too, so it's too early to decipher whether they're more likely to become actuaries, literary geniuses, or veterinarians :)
