Bye Casey :(

The girls think that the optical illusion they tricked GPa with in the last post is pretty funny. Their new favorite toy is the activity table (above). They take the activity table off, and then climb in and perform all sorts of silly antics. Most of the time, this involves shoving each other out of the table, but sometimes, they both cram in and giggle at each other. It's pretty funny... a little dangerous, but they're not very far off the floor, and I figure the lessons about gravity are important.

Casey had to leave on Saturday, and we've all been pretty sad ever since. We had a great time, even if the weather got pretty cold and crappy on Thursday and stayed that way until today. Boo. We made up for it with fun inside. The girls had their first PBJ, which was pretty exciting and a little hilarious...

The girls are starting to LOVE playing with dolls. "Baby" is their new favorite word, and they ask to be held up to see pictures of babies (themselves) almost constantly. They have several board books with baby faces that are falling apart because they are read so often, and they got doll strollers for their birthday that they LOVE to play with. It's very sweet.

We tried to make another island fun day before Casey's flight on Saturday, but it rained the whole time. Happily, Moody Gardens is inside, so we took another trip to the aquarium. The girls love being able to walk around. They were a little tired this trip, and thus a little less interested in everything, but they still had a great time!

We're back to trying to find a schedule, now that our visitors are gone :( That means that I no longer have an excuse for not doing the laundry. The weather is clearing up, though, so we're excited to get to spend this afternoon on the playset!
