Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! We spent our holiday this year with Aunt Marti and family. We met my cousin Robbie's son Elijah for the first time, and the girls had a lot of fun playing with his daughter Arianna, who is just a few months older than they are. AND, we got to congratulate Annie and Andy on their new baby, who will be born in June!!! Wooo hoo!

Izzy's favorite part of the day was Uncle Dale's arrival. She flirted for a few minutes before bringing him a book and demanding to sit in his lap until we left. Abby was overwhelmed by the myriad new books at her disposal, and was pretty excited to give Arianna a hug goodbye :)

The girls' vocabularies are getting much stronger, and they're interacting a lot more. Sometimes, this means hugs and sharing, and sometimes, it means screams and hitting, but all in all, it's a lot of fun to watch! The girls are both sweet little mommas to their baby dolls. They've started making them dance to the music (now, almost exclusively Christmas carols), and carry them around almost all of the time.

Izzy is really loving Mike, our cat. She's graduating to calling him by his name, instead of just "Cat." AND, she's started giving him hugs. He's VERY patient with her. VERY.

Dan and I had a date night tonight, attending our friends' wedding! Rachel and Mason are a part of our life group from church, and it has been SO much fun preparing for their wedding and marriage. It was a fantastic reason to call our stupendous babysitters and spend an evening out and together!
