Snow!

A local church trucked in some snow for the local kids to have a sort-of authentic winter experience. They had a sledding hill and a patch of snow for snow angels and snowball fights. The girls were not thrilled about the cold, but we had a fun time with the Morrises and the Yancys anyway :)

Abby was very brave and went down the sledding hill all by herself. She had a little spill at the end, but popped back up to watch her sister...

...who would NOT go down the hill, despite much coaxing and cajoling, and assurances that it would be fun.

We rounded out our day of Christmas fun with our annual trip to the Christmas train. The girls loved it. They got some jingle bell necklaces, and I told them about the connection between bells ringing and angels getting their wings (as per It's a Wonderful Life), and whenever they saw angels in the light display, they jingled with all of their might.
