Montana 2011: Oh, the Snow!

We woke up on Tuesday morning to a blanket (8+ inches by the time we left, and still falling) of snow. The girls didn't know what to think! Seizing the moment, we bundled the girls up and got ready to go play. Izzy wasn't particularly thrilled, but since we were leaving in the afternoon, we knew we needed to play in the now!

The girls were pretty cold and not entirely skilled in the art of walking in snow, but they seemed to have a pretty fun time.

Dan pulled a sled out of the garage, which was pretty fun.

And then Papa hooked it up to the four-wheeler for even more excitement. Izzy was preetty thrilled to get to ride up front with Papa... after all, a four-wheeler is KIND of like a tractor...

After all of the frivolity in the snow, we had to come in, pack up, and hit the road for the airport. We had one last lunch at Applebees, squeezing in a final snuggle with Baby Zoey

and some farewell cousin hugs

before we said goodbye. Despite the cold, we had an amazing and wonderful time, and we can't wait to come back. In the summertime :)

We know Texas isn't for everyone, but just some brief research has turned up some interesting information on a great undergrad anthropology program, a radiology program, a vet med program, great nursing career opportunities, and the second-largest metropolitan police chopper division in the U.S.

Oh, and Izzy just wanted to let Papa know that we are going to the beach tomorrow ;)
