We visited the Johnson Space Center! It was our first trip ever, and it was pretty cool... a little above the girls' level, but still very fun. There was a big National Geographic exhibit in the entry hall, and the girls really loved that! We pushed the limits of their nap schedule, and reaped the fruit of our folly with an all out fit from Abby when we had to wait in line for a tram... yikes! But in a few years, I think that we'll have a lot of fun out there at NASA!

We spend the last day of 2009 at Moody Gardens, our favorite!
Over the course of the week, Abby really took a shine to Ryan, hopping up beside him on the couch, and seeking him out to hold his hand.
The penguins were once again a big hit.
The girls are definitely starting to recognize things at the aquarium. They had fun watching the octopus again, who gave us quite a show, swimming around and changing colors. He's my new favorite. :)
We spent the evening playing games... Catch Phrase and Scattegories. We had a great 2009, and are looking forward to an even better 2010! Happy New Year to everyone!

Off to a sad start, the first day of 2010 brought more goodbyes as the Oberts left us. We miss everyone terribly.
Present (January 3, 2010)
We're having an interesting time getting the girls back on schedule! Yikes! They're not sure whether they'd like to go back to two naps or one, and they're a little cranky that we put the spare bed away, robbing them of one more bouncing surface, but overall, I think we'll be back on schedule soon. Our plans for the next month including potty training, learning more states and countries, and solidifying their knowledge of their letters and numbers. AND, we're re-joining The Little Gym, which should be very fun! We still have 2 more months of Kindermusik, so it should be a fun and busy time!
