Spring!

After our wretched deep freeze last week, the Obert girls were all VERY excited to get outside this afternoon! Our citrus trees seemed to have survived... when spring really gets here, we'll be able to see if there is new growth above the grafts and we'll know we're OK. Our hibiscus and our Birds of Paradise don't look so hot, but again, spring works magic around here, so we're in wait-and-see mode. Here's hoping for NO more below-freezing temperatures in the Bay Area. Ever.

Anyway, the girls had a GREAT time outside! We revisited our car... and had some more lessons about sharing.

We practiced our climbing skills... which are a lot different when wearing shoes! The girls also like to multi-task and try to climb, drink water, and carry their toys simultaneously, which resulted in a couple of minor tumbles, but nothing eliciting so much as a tear.

Even a head-on collision on the slide brought giggles. It was a GREAT day to be alive in Texas!
