We visited the local garden center for our tree this year. We browsed for a few minutes, and then Abby declared that she'd found her favorite tree. It was, indeed, a fine tree, but since we'd only just begun the search, we tried to get her to evaluate the other trees on the lot. After she went flying back down the aisle to "her" tree when she saw another family taking a shine to it, we decided we'd go ahead and take it home :)
The girls love December because it means that they get to drink copious amounts of hot chocolate, and, perhaps more importantly, marshmallows. Mmm. Our post Christmas-tree-choosing activities also included watching Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer... which always surprises me because the inhabitants of the North Pole seem, by and large, kind of mean, even Santa. But all's well that ends well, right? Hmmm.
