Both of the girls are talking more and more, but Izzy in particular is talking louder and louder. When her smiles don't get our attention, she makes sure that someone starts looking her way! In this video, she's making a plea to the Abby and Izzy blog readership for donations to her Aunt Chelle's marathon for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Chelle ran the Chicago marathon two years ago, and is running again this year for the CFF. You can read about her training (mis)adventures on her blog, Seagulls, and if you're so inclined, can donate to her marathon fund. Izzy and I feel OK about shamelessly plugging for Aunt Chelle since it's for a very good cause. :)

Reading time with Dad. As the second picture demonstrates, full body control has not yet been achieved, even in the Bumbos... we have a lot of leaning going on!
In other news, we're having our patio expanded! The contractors came and dug out the grass and laid the foundation, and hopefully tomorrow, they'll install the pavestones so we can have a Happy Father's Day on the new patio!! Here's a before picture from our first summer in the house. I'll take a during and after tomorrow!
