Last day in June

We've been having a really fun time out on the patio. We have some foam tiles that I put under the girls' blanket, and they just have a grand old time out there chatting away, watching me and each other, and listening to the birds.

We got another jumperoo, and the girls were having SUCH a fun time jumping and playing. They're really starting to notice one another more and more... Izzy actually turns in her seat in the video once she catches a glimpse of her sister.

We went to a BBQ at the Morris's on Saturday, and this is the only picture that I got! The girls were amazingly well behaved; they took their nighttime bottle, and actually went to sleep in their carseats at their normal bedtime! Woo hoo! Dan and I, of course, attribute it to our fabulous parenting. Hee hee. Really, we know that we are just incredibly blessed!

We've graduated to having a "real" morning nap. The girls decided this for me when they started falling asleep on their blanket every morning at around 10.

Can you believe that we are actually growing bananas?!?! It's so exciting for us! We'd been noticing that the banana tree was flowering, but the first couple of flowers just withered and fell off. Then we started getting more of the famous Houston rain, and voila! The flowers turned into bananas! Amazing! If they actually grow and ripen, I'll try one and report back! We're planning to plant some citrus trees (one for each of the girls) next spring (on the girls' first birthday). So fun!
