Sorry about the lack of recent posts! We've been busy with Chickigram and GPa! They flew in on Thursday night, and Chickigram had to leave today, so we packed in a lot of activity. GPa gets to stay until Wednesday, because he's retired... Chickigram is pretty jealous!
On Saturday morning, we went to the BAMOM (Bay Area Mothers of Multiples) biannual garage sale and got some PJs, outfits, and fun toys, including a Laugh'n'Learn kitchen. It's a little advanced for the girls, but definitely something they'll grow into!
Saturday afternoon, the extended family came over for burgers and brats. We had so much fun visiting... kids were running and laughing everywhere, and it just sounded like happiness! :)

Cousin John (Nicci's cousin Robby's son) turned 4 this week, and we went to his birthday party this afternoon. Izzy LOVES little kids, and was especially thrilled to see John... she giggled and giggled every time she saw him! John's sister, Ariana, is 3 months older than the girls, and it was fun to see her... she's toddling already, which give me much anxiety about what the next few months will hold!
After the party, we dropped Chickigram off at the airport :( and then went home for an afternoon of football and binky thievery. It seems that Izzy, who no longer takes a pacifier, having exhibited a definitive preference for her thumb, thinks that it's time that Abby broke the habit as well :). We know that it's not entirely good parenting to document our children's less-than-perfect behavior, but we find Izzy's new trick pretty amusing...poor Abby!
Daddy has the ability to calm any storm that the girls encounter, so he smoothed Abby's ruffled feathers, and moved Izzy a little further away :)
