We planned a trip to the zoo to celebrate our anniversary, but were worried that we might need to postpone if the babies woke up sick and cranky... Happily, they were both full of giggles this morning! It was "Zoo Boo," which meant that there were costumed children everywhere. I think that the girls were more fascinated by the little people than they were with the animals, but the lions and monkeys did elicit some smiles and exclamations! We became members, so we plan on several more trips this year... it'll be fun to see the girls' involvement in our outings change over the coming months!
The girls did really well in the stroller, although we took them out a few times so that we could help them see some of the animals. We got through most of the zoo before they pooped out :) We LOVE the new stroller, although it would be nice if the handle height were adjustable... they're always a little low for Dan.
The medicine seems to be working well for Izzy---in any case, it must taste great, because she smiles when I get it out! Both girls are much less full of snot than they've been for the past week, which is a relief. Woo hoo!
