Dad went to work yesterday, since GPa was here to help me. The first thing he did when he came home was take a picture of himself with the girls... I think he missed them :)

Dan and I have a standing giggle about a question from our pre-marital counseling survey. We were supposed to rank our agreement status (strongly disagree-strongly agree) on statements, one of which was "I think having children will solve all of the problems in our relationship." So, since we started trying to conceive, every time we had a little spat, we'd say, "Man, can't wait till we have kids so that all of our problems will be solved!" But now that the girls are here, it's funny, because we kind of feel like they have all been solved (not that our relationship was riddled with strife); we just are so giddy all of the time. We're wise enough to know that this honeymoon probably won't last forever, but wow! We are so happy!
We took a walk yesterday down to Gilmore Elementary, where the girls will go if we're still in this neighborhood when they're bigger (we don't have any plans to leave). It's less than a mile away, which will be a nice little walk. Gilmore is also where our church met, until this past weekend, when we moved to a bigger school to accommodate our burgeoning attendance. We're a little sad that we won't be SO close (although the new school adds only about 1 minute to our church commute), but happy that our church has been so blessed!
