Chelle and I took the girls down to Galveston today to take in the beach. It was a gorgeous day and we had a lot of fun. It was my first day to load, unload, and use the stroller, which was exciting. It just barely fits in our trunk, so it really requires some finesse!
We went shopping at Murdoch's, where we met Dan after he was done with work, and then took these pictures at Mermaid Pier.
Here are the girls before we left, hamming it up for the camera :) Chelle has been taking over the first of the nighttime feedings, which has made life a lot happier for everyone, especially Mom and Dad. A HUGE thanks to Chelle for that!!! She flies back to Chicago in the morning :( Aunt Jessie and Cousin Hailey are coming on Monday, which means that we're on our own this weekend! Yikes!

I made my first "new mom" call to the pediatrician yesterday. Izzy had some pretty serious spitting up spells for her first two feedings Thursday morning which made me nervous, so I called it in. The nurse said to keep an eye on her and to try to keep her upright for about 30 minutes after each feeding. Easy for her to say, since she isn't feeding 2 babies at midnight, 3 and 6! But it does seem to be helping. It just hurts to watch Izzy be so sad about the spitting up/throwing up! I love these girls to distraction!!!
