We LOVE having days when Dad can be home from work. Abby is a total Daddy's girl and demands that he hold her ALL the time. The girls are both smiling a lot, and Izzy is starting to talk more and more...she didn't cry a lot before, but now that she's found her voice, it's replacing some of her cry-demands, which is great. We are still getting 8-9 hours of sleep at night, even when our routines are off, and that is SUCH a blessing. Woo hoo! The girls are tracking toys with their eyes now, and they're interested enough in them that the dangly vibrating jungle animal toys that we've hooked to the handles of their carseats (thank you Tara!!!) pacify them almost as well as their binkys! This is very helpful for carrides... I can reach back from the passenger seat (NOT when I'm driving) and pull them, and the girls stop fussing to watch. I'll take a video one of these days.
Our friends Dustin and Ashley stopped by with their son on Sunday. Luke is about 3 months older than the girls. Abby was captivated:) Dan and Dustin work together and share tales of fatherhood at the office.
