Tummy Time

The girls are getting better and better at holding their heads up. They're not big fans of tummy time, but they are getting stronger, and they wiggle around a lot, which is a good precursor to crawling (oy vey!). Izzy is the one talking (complaining?), and Abby is grunting :)

Izzy is getting really good at the Bumbo, although she's not tolerant of it for too terribly long. The girls are also much more tolerant of most of their "exercises," from tummy time to Bumbo time to reading time, in the mornings, much to their Dad's chagrin, since they're cranky about performing by the time he gets home from work :( Thank goodness for long weekends!

I'm teaching the girls to sleep in different locations so that they can take naps and/or sleepover with Chickigram and GPa when they stay at a beach cottage in Galveston this July. I've tried to keep everything the same (swaddles, binkys, and lullabye CD) except the location (pack'n'play instead of cribs), and it's worked really well for naptime... they may even sleep better here!
